About me

I am a second year PhD student in the Algorithms and Complexity group at the University of Bonn supervised by Heiko Röglin.

I am broadly interested in applications of smoothed (or more generally beyond-worst case) analysis for machine learning and optimization. In my work, I try to narrow down the gap between theory and practice in algorithms related to problems in these fields.

Interests other than Math/TCS:

Outside of my work, I like to play piano, compose, knit, and rock climb. I’m also interested in queer studies, especially the interplay between gender and the reproduction of power hierarchies in society. If nature is unjust, change nature!
